Following the development of a simple thread into complex new media objects, the exhibition will touch upon recent developments in the areas of wearable technology and electronic sculpting through lumino light objects and the presentation of Arduino microcontrollers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>Dealing with sculptural textile (J. \u0160tefanec) and electronic thread (A. Klan\u010di\u0107), designed substance and new meanings of objects (P. Dona), as well as socially responsible textile art (M. M. A former fashion designer (1983 \u20ac\u201c1987), she holds a BFA in painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana (1989) and an MFA in new genres from the San Francisco Art Institute (2001). Her awards include an Austrian Academic Exchange Scholarship, an ArtsLink Fellowship and a Fulbright Scholarship.
